The University of Nevada,
Las Vegas strives to be one of the
nation's leading urban universities by providing students
an excellent education at a reasonable cost whose faculty
mentors students and produces relevant, first rate and
internationally recognized

Since its founding in 1957, this university has grown rapidly, expanding both its
academic programs and its facilities. At the undergraduate
level, students may earn degrees in more than 69 subjects.
Graduate students can choose from more than 59 degree
programs. All UNLV programs are accredited by the
Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges.
Located in south-central Las Vegas, UNLV has a beautiful campus
with extensive computer, library and residential
facilities connected by spacious lawns and walkways shaded
by trees and complemented by desert foliage. There are
on-campus events that inform and invite student
