Interests: Palaeoanthropology, palaeobiology;
hominid growth and development. human origins.
skeletal biology, dental anthropology, forensic
anthropology. morphometrics.
My primary research area is the evolution of the
modern human pattern of growth and development,
particularly the evolution of adolescence. My
research also includes human adaptations to marginal
environments and I am currently analyzing Neolithic
skeletal remains from Dakhleh Oasis, Egypt as a
member of the Dakhleh Oasis project.
