Anthropology Department Labs And Research Facilities:

The Anthropology and Ethnic Studies department supports lab facilities that reinforce and present research opportunities for both faculty and

students. These opportunities are available to both graduate students and undergraduates.

This has facilitated significant grant opportunities for many graduate and undergraduate students, to produce publications, provided data for conference presentations. Many of our graduate students develop the data for their dissertations and thesis projects based on the work done in our lab facilities.

We currently operate nine labs and plan to have two more online by the fall of 2008. Each lab is dedicated to one of the sub disciplines within anthropology and is often specialized to facilitate research in a particular area within that sub discipline.
