 The Anthropology
and Ethnic Studies Department offers hundreds of courses that
enhance the opportunities and perspective of our students at
both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Faculty
involvement and mentoring is facilitated by ongoing research
projects, field schools, curriculum and our extensive lab
facilities.
We offer courses that reflect the four-field approach to
anthropology to produce students well versed in current
research topics and the issues which make anthropology a vital
force in the social sciences.
Required courses are offered at least once per school year or
every semester. Most other courses are offered on at least a
bi-annual basis.
